Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase, order, supply, installation and commissioning of goods, products, services, vehicle conversions and associated work by Premier Auto Design.
Definitions
The “Company” shall mean Premier Auto Design.
The “Customer” shall mean the person, company or entity purchasing, ordering or commissioning goods, products, services, vehicle conversions, installations or associated work from the Company.
Premier Edition is a trading brand of Premier Auto Design. Premier Auto Design may also act as a distributor, importer, retailer, representative or authorised dealer for various automotive brands and products.
Where these Terms and Conditions refer to “Premier Auto Design”, “the Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”, this shall include Premier Auto Design and, where applicable, the relevant trading brands, authorised suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, agents or approved dealers acting on behalf of the Company.
Retention of Title
Ownership of any goods or products supplied by the Company shall not pass to the Customer under any circumstances until the Company has received in full, in cash or cleared funds, all sums due in respect of the goods, products, services, installation, labour and/or any other associated charges supplied by the Company.
Until full payment has been received, the Company reserves the right to retain legal ownership of the goods and, where applicable, to recover or repossess such goods.
Payment
Payment terms may vary depending on the brand, product, service, vehicle conversion or order being supplied.
Where applicable, an initial deposit of 50% of the total order value will be required to confirm an order. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the goods, products, vehicle or completed work are released to the Customer.
Please note that a 50% deposit is not applicable to every product or brand supplied by Premier Auto Design. Certain brands, products, special-order items, bespoke products, imported goods and/or vehicle conversions may require full payment in advance before an order is placed, processed or commenced. The applicable payment requirement will be confirmed to the Customer at the time of quotation or order.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits and advance payments are non-refundable where the Customer subsequently cancels an order, particularly where goods have been specially ordered, manufactured, allocated, imported or otherwise committed specifically for the Customer.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or other payment method expressly agreed by Premier Auto Design.
Personal or company cheques will only be accepted where agreed in advance by Premier Auto Design and will be subject to clearance.
No vehicle, product, goods or completed work will be released until all outstanding balances have been received in full in cleared funds.
Delivery
All delivery dates provided by Premier Auto Design are anticipated dates and will be advised as accurately as reasonably possible at the time of order.
Premier Auto Design will use reasonable endeavours to meet the anticipated delivery date. However, delivery dates may be affected by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, customs, transport providers, production schedules or other circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control.
Where a delivery is expected to be delayed, Premier Auto Design will endeavour to inform the Customer as soon as reasonably practicable.
Premier Auto Design and its approved dealers, agents or suppliers shall not be liable for failure to deliver by an anticipated date where such delay arises from circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control.
Exchange Goods
Where an order is subject to the return of original parts or exchange goods, the Customer must return the relevant parts in the condition and within the timeframe specified by Premier Auto Design.
A surcharge of 40% may be applied to applicable mail-order items where the original parts are required to be returned and are pending receipt and inspection.
Any surcharge or additional charge applicable to exchange goods will be confirmed at the time of quotation or order.
Unless otherwise stated, prices shown exclude UK VAT where applicable.
Export Customers – EU
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, products supplied to customers within the European Union will be invoiced in accordance with the applicable UK VAT requirements.
Where a Customer is a VAT-registered business within the EU and the transaction qualifies for zero-rated VAT treatment, the Customer must provide valid and verifiable VAT registration details and any other documentation reasonably required by Premier Auto Design.
Where VAT has been charged, any potential VAT refund or adjustment will be subject to the Customer providing the appropriate evidence and documentation required by HMRC and/or the relevant tax authorities.
Premier Auto Design reserves the right to charge VAT where the required evidence for zero-rating has not been provided or where the transaction does not qualify for zero-rated treatment.
Export Customers – Non-EU
Quotations for international shipments are generally valid for 7 days from the quotation date unless otherwise stated.
International shipping costs may fluctuate due to changes in air freight, sea freight, fuel surcharges, customs requirements, exchange rates and other associated costs.
Premier Auto Design will provide the Customer with a quotation for the goods and, where requested, associated delivery charges.
Where the Customer wishes to use its own shipping company or freight forwarder, this must be agreed with Premier Auto Design in advance and full payment for the goods must be received in cleared funds before the goods are released to the Customer's nominated carrier.
Export Terms
Unless specific alternative terms have been agreed in writing between Premier Auto Design and the Customer, where goods are supplied for export from the United Kingdom, the Customer shall be responsible, at its own cost, for complying with all legislation, regulations and requirements governing the importation, registration and use of the goods in the country of destination.
This includes obtaining any relevant licences, permits, approvals, certificates or permissions and paying any applicable import duties, customs charges, taxes, registration fees or other costs associated with importing the goods.
The Customer is also responsible for ensuring that any products or parts supplied by Premier Auto Design are legally permitted to be installed and used on the Customer's vehicle, or a client's vehicle, within the country of destination.
Premier Auto Design accepts no responsibility for restrictions, regulations, homologation requirements or legal requirements applicable outside the United Kingdom.
Unless the goods are to be collected by the Customer or the Customer's nominated carrier from the Company's premises, delivery will be made to the nominated delivery address agreed with Premier Auto Design.
Notice – Vehicle Movement and Test Driving
Depending on the nature and extent of the work being undertaken, it may be necessary for Premier Auto Design, its employees, approved contractors or specialist subcontractors to drive or move the Customer's vehicle.
This may include transportation to or from specialist facilities such as body shops, trimming specialists, paint facilities, wheel specialists, mechanical specialists, storage facilities or other approved subcontractors.
As a result, a reasonable amount of mileage may be accumulated on the vehicle.
Premier Auto Design and its authorised drivers will take reasonable care when driving or moving Customer vehicles and will ensure that appropriate insurance arrangements are in place where required.
Delivery
All delivery dates provided by Premier Auto Design are estimated dates only and will be advised as accurately as reasonably possible at the time of order.
Premier Auto Design will use all reasonable endeavours to meet the anticipated delivery date. However, delivery times may be affected by manufacturers, suppliers, production schedules, shipping companies, customs authorities, transport providers or other circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control.
Where Premier Auto Design becomes aware of a significant delay to an anticipated delivery date, we will endeavour to notify the Customer as soon as reasonably practicable.
Premier Auto Design, its approved dealers, agents, suppliers and authorised representatives shall not be liable for failure to deliver goods, products or completed vehicle conversions by an anticipated delivery date where the delay arises from circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control.
Exchange Goods
Where an order is subject to the return of original, exchange or removed parts, the applicable original parts must be returned in good and acceptable condition within the timeframe specified by Premier Auto Design.
A 40% surcharge may be applied to applicable mail-order items where the price or quotation expressly states that the order is subject to the return of original or exchange parts.
Any surcharge will be refundable or credited only where the relevant original parts are returned within the required timeframe and are received in an acceptable condition, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Premier Auto Design reserves the right to inspect returned parts before confirming any refund or credit.
Unless otherwise stated, prices shown exclude UK VAT. VAT will be charged where applicable.
Export Customers – European Union
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Premier Auto Design will invoice goods in accordance with the applicable UK VAT regulations.
Where a Customer is an eligible VAT-registered business within the European Union and the transaction qualifies for zero-rated VAT treatment, the Customer must provide valid VAT registration details and any supporting documentation reasonably required by Premier Auto Design.
Premier Auto Design reserves the right to charge UK VAT where the Customer does not provide satisfactory evidence of VAT registration, export or eligibility for zero-rating, or where the transaction does not otherwise qualify for zero-rated VAT treatment.
Where goods are exported from the United Kingdom, the Customer may be required to provide satisfactory evidence of export in accordance with the requirements of HM Revenue & Customs.
Any VAT treatment will be determined in accordance with the applicable legislation and the circumstances of the individual transaction.
Export Customers – Non-EU
International shipping quotations are generally valid for 7 days from the date of quotation unless otherwise stated.
International freight costs may fluctuate due to changes in air freight, sea freight, fuel charges, exchange rates, customs requirements and other transportation costs.
Premier Auto Design will provide the Customer with a quotation for the requested goods and, where applicable, international delivery charges.
Where the Customer wishes to use its own shipping company, freight forwarder or nominated carrier, this must be agreed with Premier Auto Design in advance.
Goods will not be released to a Customer's nominated carrier until full payment has been received in cleared funds, unless alternative written payment arrangements have been agreed by Premier Auto Design.
The Customer remains responsible for ensuring that its nominated carrier has the appropriate authority, documentation and arrangements to collect and transport the goods.
Export Terms
Unless specific alternative terms have been agreed in writing between Premier Auto Design and the Customer, where goods are supplied for export from the United Kingdom, the Customer shall be responsible, at its own cost, for complying with all laws, regulations and requirements governing the importation, registration, installation and use of the goods in the country of destination.
This includes responsibility for obtaining any required licences, permits, approvals, certificates or permissions and for paying all applicable import duties, customs charges, taxes, levies, registration fees and other costs associated with importing or registering the goods.
The Customer is also responsible for ensuring that any products, parts, accessories, wheels, body components or other goods supplied by Premier Auto Design are legally permitted to be imported, installed and used on the Customer's vehicle or a client's vehicle within the destination country.
Premier Auto Design cannot accept responsibility for the legal, regulatory, technical or homologation requirements applicable in countries outside the United Kingdom.
Unless goods are to be collected by the Customer or the Customer's nominated carrier from Premier Auto Design's premises, delivery will be made to the nominated delivery address agreed with the Customer.
Notice – Vehicle Movement and Test Driving
Depending on the nature and extent of the work being undertaken, it may be necessary for Premier Auto Design, its employees, approved contractors, authorised drivers or specialist subcontractors to drive, move or transport the Customer's vehicle.
This may include transporting the vehicle to or from specialist subcontractors or facilities, including but not limited to body shops, trimming specialists, paint facilities, wheel specialists, mechanical specialists, storage facilities or other approved suppliers.
As a result, a reasonable amount of mileage may be accumulated on the vehicle.
Premier Auto Design and its authorised drivers will exercise reasonable care and attention when driving or moving Customer vehicles and will maintain appropriate insurance arrangements where required.
The Customer acknowledges that reasonable vehicle movement and mileage may be necessary to complete the contracted work.
Delivery – Inspection of Goods
Any delivery date quoted by Premier Auto Design is an anticipated date only and cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing as a guaranteed delivery date.
Premier Auto Design shall use all reasonable endeavours to have the goods ready for delivery by the anticipated date.
Should Premier Auto Design be unable to deliver the goods by the anticipated date, the Customer shall not automatically be entitled to cancel, terminate or repudiate the contract solely because of the delay, unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.
Premier Auto Design shall not be liable for failure to deliver by the anticipated date where such failure results from circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
The Customer must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery and, where applicable, before signing for receipt.
Any visible damage to packaging or goods should be clearly recorded with the delivery company at the time of delivery and reported to Premier Auto Design as soon as reasonably practicable.
Installation
Premier Auto Design may, by individual arrangement, provide or arrange installation of products at its own premises or through an approved dealer, installer, agent or specialist workshop.
The purchase of parts or products from Premier Auto Design does not automatically include or require installation by Premier Auto Design or any of its agents, dealers or approved installers.
The sale and supply of goods and the provision of installation services shall be treated as separate services unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Premier Auto Design and/or its appointed installer may decline, postpone or cancel an installation appointment where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the vehicle, parts, products, specifications, conditions or circumstances are unsuitable or unsafe for the proposed installation.
Where installation is undertaken by a third party not appointed or authorised by Premier Auto Design, Premier Auto Design shall not be responsible for the workmanship, actions, omissions or damage caused by that third party.
Warranty
Premier Auto Design Warranty
Where a warranty is provided by Premier Auto Design in respect of products, parts, wheels, accessories, installations or vehicle conversions, the applicable warranty will be subject to the specific warranty terms supplied with the relevant product or service.
Where registration of a warranty is required, the Customer must register the warranty within 14 days of purchase or completion of the relevant work, unless the applicable product warranty specifies a different period.
Proof of purchase may be required before a warranty claim can be considered.
Subject to the applicable warranty terms, Premier Auto Design will, where appropriate, repair, replace or rectify defective products or workmanship covered by the Company's warranty.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, the Company's warranty period for qualifying Premier Auto Design supplied or installed products and workmanship shall be 12 months from the date of purchase, installation or completion of the relevant conversion.
Certain products supplied by third-party manufacturers may be subject exclusively to the manufacturer's own warranty terms and conditions. In such circumstances, Premier Auto Design will assist the Customer where reasonably possible but cannot provide a manufacturer's warranty on behalf of the manufacturer.
Warranty Exclusions
The Premier Auto Design warranty does not cover damage, defects or failures resulting from:
- Third-party modification, alteration, repair or installation without prior written authorisation from Premier Auto Design.
- Incorrect installation or fitting by an unauthorised third party.
- Misuse, abuse, negligence or accident.
- Motorsport, racing, track use or competitive events.
- Off-road use where the product or vehicle is not specifically designed or approved for such use.
- Kerb damage or impact damage to alloy wheels.
- Stone chips, road debris or other external damage.
- Corrosion or deterioration caused by improper cleaning or maintenance.
- Use of unsuitable or aggressive cleaning products.
- Modifications made to the vehicle after installation.
- Damage caused by incorrect tyre pressures, wheel bolt torque or vehicle maintenance.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Any finish, coating, refurbishment or modification undertaken by a third party after supply by Premier Auto Design.
Any warranty claim relating to a product may require the product to be returned to Premier Auto Design for inspection before a warranty decision is made.
The Company's warranty applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing and is not automatically transferable to a subsequent owner.
Premier Auto Design's warranty does not automatically cover vehicle recovery, transportation, accommodation, replacement vehicle costs, loss of use or other consequential expenses unless specifically agreed in writing.
Alloy Wheel Care and Finish Warranty
Alloy wheels require appropriate care and maintenance to preserve their finish.
Premier Auto Design strongly recommends avoiding aggressive commercial wheel cleaners, acidic cleaners, abrasive compounds and unsuitable chemical products.
We recommend using the same type of mild automotive shampoo or vehicle cleaning product used for washing the vehicle, together with a suitable soft wheel-cleaning sponge or mitt.
Wheels should be cleaned regularly to prevent the build-up of brake dust, road salt, dirt and other contaminants.
Pressure washers should not be used at close range on the wheel surface, centre caps, finishes or delicate areas, as excessive pressure may damage or deteriorate the finish.
If stone chips or minor damage to a painted or coated surface are identified, the affected area should be cleaned and appropriately protected as soon as possible.
Kerb damage or impact damage to a wheel will void any warranty relating to the wheel's cosmetic finish.
Any subsequent refinishing, painting, powder coating, polishing, machining or other finish applied by a third party will void the Company's warranty for the affected finish.
Manufacturer's Warranty
The fitting of aftermarket products does not, in itself, necessarily invalidate a vehicle manufacturer's warranty.
However, warranty coverage may depend upon the nature of the modification, the vehicle manufacturer, the individual component affected and the terms of the manufacturer's warranty.
Premier Auto Design cannot guarantee that a vehicle manufacturer, franchised dealer or other warranty provider will accept a warranty claim following the installation of aftermarket products or modifications.
Where a warranty claim is made against a vehicle manufacturer's warranty, the Customer should discuss the matter directly with the vehicle manufacturer or authorised dealer.
Premier Auto Design shall not be responsible for the refusal of a manufacturer's warranty claim where the refusal relates to an aftermarket modification, component or product installed on the vehicle.
Customers are advised to contact their vehicle manufacturer or authorised dealer before undertaking significant modifications if they have concerns regarding their manufacturer's warranty.
Aftermarket Products and Applicable Law
Premier Auto Design supplies and distributes a range of aftermarket automotive products from its own brands and from independent manufacturers and suppliers.
The use or installation of aftermarket products must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, technical requirements, safety requirements and vehicle-specific requirements applicable to the vehicle and the country in which the vehicle is being used.
Where applicable, aftermarket components may be designed to meet or exceed certain original equipment specifications. However, the Customer should not assume that any aftermarket product has been approved, endorsed or manufactured by the vehicle manufacturer unless this is expressly stated.
Premier Auto Design makes no representation that an aftermarket product is approved by a vehicle manufacturer unless such approval is expressly confirmed in writing.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that any modification or aftermarket product installed on their vehicle complies with applicable requirements relating to road use, vehicle safety, registration, insurance, emissions, noise, lighting, dimensions and any other relevant legal requirements.
Where appropriate, Customers should notify their insurer and vehicle manufacturer or authorised dealer of any modifications made to their vehicle.
Cancellation
Where the Customer has a statutory right to cancel an order or contract, such rights shall apply in accordance with applicable law.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, orders for specially manufactured, bespoke, personalised, imported, non-stock, special-order or made-to-order goods may not be cancelled once production, procurement, manufacture or importation has commenced.
Where cancellation is permitted, Premier Auto Design may be entitled to retain any deposit paid and/or recover reasonable costs, charges and expenses already incurred in connection with the order, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Such costs may include, but are not limited to:
- Manufacturing costs.
- Supplier cancellation charges.
- Shipping and freight charges.
- Import and export costs.
- Customs charges.
- Special-order or bespoke product costs.
- Labour already undertaken.
- Installation or preparation costs.
- Other reasonable costs incurred specifically in connection with the Customer's order.
Where goods have already been supplied to the Customer, the Customer may be required to return those goods at their own cost where cancellation is permitted.
Returned goods must be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging unless otherwise agreed.
Premier Auto Design reserves the right to deduct reasonable costs or charges permitted under these Terms and Conditions and applicable law from any refund due to the Customer.
Price List and Product Information Disclaimer
Every effort is made by Premier Auto Design to ensure that all prices, specifications, product descriptions, vehicle applications, images and other information published on our websites, brochures, price lists and other marketing materials are accurate and up to date.
However, occasional typographical, technical, pricing or product specification errors may occur.
Premier Auto Design reserves the right to correct any errors and, where necessary, to refuse or cancel an order placed on the basis of a materially incorrect price, description or specification.
Where an error is identified after an order has been placed, Premier Auto Design will contact the Customer and provide the opportunity to confirm the order at the correct price or specification where appropriate.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices for goods and services may be subject to UK VAT, applicable taxes, duties, carriage, insurance, loading, unloading, delivery and other associated costs.
Premier Auto Design's price lists, dealer pricing, trade pricing and dealer codes may be revised from time to time without prior notice.
Where a price has been agreed and an order accepted, Premier Auto Design reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments before delivery or completion where there has been an increase in the Company's costs arising from changes in raw materials, labour, manufacturing costs, taxes, duties, levies, shipping costs or other costs outside the Company's reasonable control.
Product Description and Specification
The quantity, description, specification and type of goods and/or services to be purchased by the Customer shall be set out in the applicable order form, quotation, invoice, written confirmation or other written communication issued by Premier Auto Design.
Premier Auto Design will endeavour to ensure that products supplied are consistent with current brochures, catalogues, websites and other published literature.
Product images are for illustrative purposes unless expressly stated otherwise.
Due to manufacturer production processes, product development, availability and technical changes, the specification, dimensions, finishes, materials or other characteristics of a product may change from those shown in earlier brochures, websites or imagery.
Where reasonably necessary, Premier Auto Design or the relevant manufacturer may make minor technical or production changes to products without affecting their intended function.
Where a material change is made to a product specification after an order has been accepted, Premier Auto Design will endeavour to notify the Customer where reasonably practicable.
Third-Party Fitting and Installation
Where the Customer purchases goods from Premier Auto Design but chooses to arrange fitting or installation independently, Premier Auto Design shall not be responsible for the installation, workmanship or actions of the third-party installer.
Where goods are damaged, incorrectly fitted, modified or otherwise affected by a third party during or following installation, Premier Auto Design shall not be liable for damage or loss resulting from that third party's actions or workmanship.
Any warranty supplied by Premier Auto Design may be void, to the extent permitted by law, where a defect, failure or damage has resulted from incorrect installation, modification or fitting by an unauthorised third party.
Customers are strongly advised to use a suitably qualified and experienced professional installer.
Where installation is arranged by Premier Auto Design, the terms applicable to the installation service will be confirmed separately where appropriate.
Demonstration Products and Product Appearance
Where products are demonstrated through physical samples, photographs, renders, brochures or websites, the final product may vary slightly in appearance due to manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, lighting, photography, screen settings or subsequent manufacturer revisions.
Premier Auto Design will endeavour to supply goods which are substantially consistent with the product description and specification provided at the time of order.
Where necessary to comply with safety, technical, legal or regulatory requirements, Premier Auto Design or the relevant manufacturer may make changes to the specification of a product, including substituting materials or components.
Where reasonably practicable, such changes will be limited to minor or technical alterations and will not materially alter the intended appearance or function of the product.
Scrap Parts / Original Parts / Old Wheels
Where original vehicle parts, wheels, components or other parts are removed from a Customer's vehicle during installation or conversion and are not required to be retained by Premier Auto Design, the Customer must arrange collection or delivery within 14 days of completion of the relevant work or the vehicle leaving the workshop.
After this period, Premier Auto Design shall not be responsible for the continued storage of such parts.
Premier Auto Design reserves the right to charge reasonable storage, handling or disposal costs where parts remain uncollected beyond the agreed period.
Where the Customer wishes to extend the storage period or have removed parts delivered to an alternative address, a written request must be submitted to Premier Auto Design within 8 working days of the vehicle leaving the workshop.
Where original parts have been expressly exchanged, purchased, offset against the Customer's order or transferred into the ownership of Premier Auto Design, this provision shall not apply.
Copyright, Trademarks and Intellectual Property
Premier Auto Design and Premier Edition may be registered trademarks, trading names or brands of Premier Auto Design or their respective owners.
All trademarks, logos, product names, designs, photographs, images, graphics, written content and other intellectual property displayed on the Premier Auto Design website, brochures, catalogues, social media channels and other marketing materials remain the property of Premier Auto Design, the relevant brand owner or their respective licensors.
Nothing contained within these Terms and Conditions grants the Customer any right to reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, publish or commercially exploit any such intellectual property without prior written permission.
All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Premier Auto Design and its associated brands are independent aftermarket businesses and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially associated with vehicle manufacturers whose vehicles may be shown or referenced in our marketing materials.
References to vehicle manufacturers and vehicle models are made for identification, application and compatibility purposes only.
Force Majeure
Premier Auto Design reserves the right to defer delivery, suspend performance, reduce the quantity of goods supplied, postpone installation or, where necessary, cancel a contract without liability where the Company is prevented from or materially delayed in carrying on its business due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Where a contract is terminated under this provision, Premier Auto Design shall be entitled to recover any reasonable costs already incurred in relation to goods manufactured, ordered, imported, customised or otherwise committed specifically for the Customer, subject to applicable law.
